GHD Hair Straighteners- Pink Fever

You can say a part of popularity was because of its noble purpose of raising funds and helping boost awareness for a range of cancer charities but at the same time it is also undeniable that people expects in return what they pay for. Pink GHD hair straightener was successful in meeting the needs for styling hair. It became essential accessory for the UK women that clamored to get their hands on a set but unfortunately the numbers were strictly limited and demand soon surpassed supply. But it was available again in October 2005 in baby pink color with a matching pink bottle of GHD iron oil as an extra addition. In October 2006 GHD released a new limited edition hot pink iron with a number of improvements under the name of GHD IV (Mk4) model on the previous model. Not only this, the pink iron oil was replaced with a wonderful travel pouch which doubled as a heat mat.

Fast forward to 2009 and GHDs are as popular as ever, retailing for anything up to £130 and now available in an array of designs and colours. In addition to the classic black stylers, GHD often run limited editions, such as 2008's purple gift set and the 'Hot Pink' styler, which since 2005 has been released each October in support of the Breast Cancer awareness campaign. Annual sales turnover in 2008 was an incredible £115 Million and the Company recently moved to a brand new multi million pound headquarters in Leeds, which includes a GHD training academy.
